We turned the most realistic game in the world into a tool for defending         the environment,           &ebsp;    using continually updated satellite imagery. Watch the trailer
Flying          Guardians
is an         innovative approach
to getting people effectively involved in defending the environment.
Using this tool, based off the world’s most hyper-realistic flight simulator, thousands of people can conduct virtual flyovers of regions like the Amazon.
The map’s not           a simulation.
It’s a reproduction
in near real-time.

This MOD (modification) updates the game map with satellite imagery provided by Planet and Google Earth.

OUR
FIRST MISSION:
REPORTING
ILLEGAL MINING
ON INDIGENOUS LAND
Illegal mining
in the Amazon          is a dire problem.

This criminal activity pollutes rivers,
poisons people, animals           and does all sorts of damage
to the environment and to life in the Amazon.

The Indigenous peoples most
affected by illegal mining are the Yanomamis and the Mundurukus.

That’s why our first mission will focus on their lands.
You’ll be able to get a firsthand look at them and file incident reports in the game.

To help you find your way there,
they'll be highlighted in gameplay.

Become one of the FLYING GUARDIANs. Join our mission.
